The Accelerator speeds up the time it takes to upload images to FrogPrints for ordering.

Essentially the Accelerator is a re-sizing tool, which reduces the size of your images before they are uploaded, which makes uploading images to FrogPrints much much quicker and easier. The files are reduced to approximately 1800 x 1200 pixels which is adequate to print images up to 6x8" in size.
 
The accelerator uses a compression algorithm (a method of reducing the image size) to effectively reduce the number of pixels in the image hence reducing the effective size of the image. Essentially it would be like capturing an image at 2MP when in fact you had actually captured it on your 8MP camera.
 
For dial-up modem users this will make a significant difference. Broad band users will also notice faster upload times.
 
For customers wishing to print larger photos (enlargements of 6x8 inches and above), please note that the Accelerator will reduce the quality of your photos. It is possible for customers to use the Standard Upload for printing at standard sizes, and then switch to the Pro Upload Method to upload photos for larger sizes
